How to use the signature set in Gmail?

You've probably already set up a sender name and signature in your Gmail and want to use them in Slack/Teams as well.

Since March 2018, this option is activated by default.
If you've connected your Gmail address prior to this release, please follow the 3 steps listed below to activate it.

This is an option you'll find in your settings page:

  1. Go to 
  2. Look for the Gmail address you'd like to set up and click "Edit"
  3. Make sure the option "Use the sender name and signatures set in Gmail" is checked.
