How do I send a tweet from Slack?

Updated 2 weeks ago by Floriane

  1. Go to the Slack channel you connected with your Twitter account. (Still need to do this? Click here to connect a Twitter account.)
  2. Type @mailclark tweet (the word "tweet" really, not your tweet) or  @mailclark @TwitterAccount (Twitter handle) to mention someone.
  3. MailClark will prompt you to write out your tweet.
  4. Hit send and you're done!

If you’ve already written to this person from Slack, MailClark will tell you in which channel(s) so that you can pick up the conversation where it left off.

If someone on your team has the same handle for Twitter and Slack, then double the @: @mailclark @@TwitterAccount.
You can also write to multiple recipients: just add a comma between their handle (i.e @person1, @person2)

How did we do?
