MailClark will be shutdown on Dec 31st

Updated 3 weeks ago by Antoine Lefeuvre

Since MailClark joined Sendinblue, we concentrated our efforts on bringing the best conversational experience to Sendinblue users. In doing so, we are no longer as involved in the Slack and Microsoft Teams ecosystems as we used to be. We prefer to anticipate the time when we won’t be able to maintain the service satisfactorily and will therefore shutdown MailClark on December 31st, 2022.

I'm on a monthly subscription, what will happen?

Your subscription will (or has) renew for one last time in November (unless you cancel it before renewal, obviously). It won't renew in December but you'll be able to continue using MailClark for free for the remainder of the year.

And for yearly subscriptions?

Depending on when your subscription was due for renewal:

  • In November or December 2022—We've cancelled the renewal but you'll be able to continue using MailClark for free for the remainder of the year.
  • In 2023—We'll refund the remainder of your subscription on a pro-rata basis. We'll issue the refund on December 1st, you'll be able to continue using MailClark for free for the remainder of the year.

How do I export my data before shutdown?

MailClark lives in Slack and Microsoft Teams. We will delete all data on our end, but only on our end. In Slack, Teams, and also Gmail, Microsoft Mail, Messenger and Twitter, all past messages exchanged via MailClark will remain available.

In other words, you don't need to export anything.

Do you have an alternative to MailClark to recommend?

No, we don't. You can browse Slack or Microsoft's app stores for alternatives.

Anything else I should know?

Yes. We apologize for the disruption to your business this shutdown will cause. Building MailClark has been an extraordinary journey, which we are proud of. Proud and grateful to our clients, partners and team who believed in our mission and supported us along the way.

Julian, Anthony and Antoine
